PHUOC HAI

A 2-hour drive from Saigon,Tan Thanh is the iconic longest black sand beach in Vietnam. To reach this equally stunning and intriguing beach,head to the direction of Highway 50, passing Can Giuoc, Can Duoc about 50km to Go Cong. From here, just follow the Provincial Highway 862 – about a 15km of drive.
If you fancy dipping in, this is not the best option for such activity. Basically, this beach is popularized by its faint black shade and yet, this is considered as the longest and strikingly beautiful black sand beach in Vietnam.
The sand feels soft and silky as your toes sink its way in as you walk along the beach. Tan Thanh beach is also uncomfortable and flat but stretches for a kilometer. Enjoy building sandcastles along the beach or a splash of cool seawater with your friends – not to mention you can bond while clam or horseshoe hunting on the beachside.
