Reaching this beach by motorbike, you will need to follow the Huynh Tan Phat Street, pass by Nha Be to Binh Khanh ferry. Crossing the ferry and running straight axis to reach Can Gio beach. 

The place is known to be the green lung of the South and the stunning first biosphere reserve found in Vietnam. An escape path to run away from the noise of the city – a soothing experience perfected by cool breeze.

For a short excursion, you can head over to the Vam Sat area where you can enjoy the lush greens and an abundance of different flora and fauna around the area (don’t miss to check the monkey island out for a bit of fun!). 

Should you feel craving to fill an empty stomach from all of the exploring, Can Gio is filled with several restaurants along its streets offering mouthwatering seafood dishes and delicacies, for a more premier food shop, head over to the 30-4 street. If not, you can just grab your choice of seafood from the Hang Duong market and bring it to the beach to eat!

A 2-hour drive from Saigon,Tan Thanh is the iconic longest black sand beach in Vietnam. To reach this equally stunning and intriguing beach,head to the direction of Highway 50, passing Can Giuoc, Can Duoc about 50km to Go Cong. From here, just follow the Provincial Highway 862 – about a 15km of drive. 

If you fancy dipping in, this is not the best option for such activity. Basically, this beach is popularized by its faint black shade and yet, this is considered as the longest and strikingly beautiful black sand beach in Vietnam. 

The sand feels soft and silky as your toes sink its way in as you walk along the beach. Tan Thanh beach is also uncomfortable and flat but stretches for a kilometer. Enjoy building sandcastles along the beach or a splash of cool seawater with your friends – not to mention you can bond while clam or horseshoe hunting on the beachside.
